I have never been one to proclaim myself as a poet. I never really knew how to even begin a poem. I still remember how much I fussed when I was given a homework assignment to write a poem. I even asked my younger sister for help, because it was what she liked to do in her spare time.

In college, I decided to take a Creative Writing class, mostly because I would only have to write. It would be an easy course to balance out the not so easy classes I registered for that particular semester.

I must say that I didn’t do so badly, then again, there wasn’t really a grading system for that class. You can’t really grade one’s self-expression. Based on the lack of red marks or suggestions on my paper, I can safely say that I can write poetry.

So in a category on the right-hand side, you will see “kroetry” = kris + poetry. In it, you will find some of my writings since that time. I hope you enjoy it.
