Inspired by the Word
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:11
The Lord has blessed us with many talents. Therefore, it is our responsibility to discover those talents and use them to His glory. My talent or gift is writing. I gladly share it with all those who desire to read what I have been inspired to express.
As you read this, I pray that you find a blessing in the stories I share and may you find your own talent.
For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. Romans 12:4-8
Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shall both sace thyself, and them that hear thee. 1 Timothy 4:14, 16
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Romans 11:29
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Ephesians 4:11-13
